Ben Calton leads the Centre for Geospatial Applications (CGA), a team of experts primarily dedicated to the application of algorithms and software to produce data products from Earth observation satellite imagery, fixed wing and unmanned autonomous vehicles on a commercial, operational basis. Clients range from UK and international SME’s to large multi-nationals as well as government departments and intergovernmental organizations.
 
Ben joined the company in 2014 bringing over 20 years of experience gained in commercial software development such as solutions for supply chain and stock management, asset management, geographic information systems (GIS), and satellite communications. His practical experience includes software systems architecture, integration and unit testing, authoring documentation and user training.
