Whether you are interested in career or visiting researcher opportunities with us, wish to find out more about our partners or collaborate with us on projects, there are many ways to work with us.

It's important for us to find the very best people to fill vacancies in our science and operational areas with career opportunities for experienced individuals and those just starting out. We pride ourselves in offering competitive terms and conditions and an excellent, friendly and vibrant working environment.

PML is strongly committed to the culture and principles of Athena SWAN, and are proud to have received an institutional Bronze Athena SWAN award. This award recognises and celebrates good practice in recruiting, retaining and promoting women in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) in research and higher education.

Applicants from all sections of the community are welcome. We adopt an equal opportunities policy and operate a Guaranteed Interview Scheme for disabled candidates holding the minimum qualifications for the post.

Current vacancies will be advertised on our website and social media channels as well as our careers portal, where you can also sign up for job alerts to be informed of new opportunities.

Visiting researchers

We welcome interest from visiting researchers who have secured funding to work in the UK, or who have won fellowships, such as a Marie Curie Fellowship, and are looking for a well equipped and vibrant scientific laboratory in which to pursue their research.

If you are interested in joining us to undertake your Marie Curie Fellowship or as a Visiting Researcher, please contact us. We also accept enquiries from those who have not yet secured funding but would like to discuss research opportunities or voluntary placements.
