The Plymouth Marine Science & Education Foundation (PlyMSEF) is a charitable body established to provide funds to enable students and early career scientists to attend scientific conferences and symposia or to attend advanced training courses or workshops in the marine disciplines. It also provides funds to promote marine science and related subjects such as public lectures and seminars in Plymouth and an annual research student conference.PlyMSEF aims to gather together Plymouth’s early career marine scientists for an informative and inspiring day of presentations, networking and state-of-the-art ocean-related science.
The annual conference welcomes masters students, PhD students and early career post-doctoral researchers from all disciplines of marine science. This event is open to students and early career researchers affiliated with PlyMSEF organisations.
