The GDN Global Development Conference hosts high-level, inclusive, evidence-based debates on current development challenges and priorities, with a majority of participation from low and middle income countries (LMICs) by bringing together researchers, evaluators, policymakers, representatives of international organizations, civil society, development practitioners and the private sector.
Restoring biodiversity and mitigating climate change are inextricably linked with protecting coastal and freshwater resources. Plymouth Marine Laboratory’s work on global, regional and local observation of water quality benefits from being closely linked to conservation efforts across such key stakeholders, which requires a dialogue on product requirements, training opportunities and wider capacity building which Professor Stefan Simis will be focus on at the conference.
