I feel very fortunate to work on a subject that I am passionate about alongside fantastic people. This teamwork within PML, the southwest and further afield allows us to make a real difference, it is the hard work and dedication of the whole team that is behind this recognition”.

Dr Matthew Cole, Senior Marine Ecologist and Ecotoxicologist at PML, continued: “I am delighted to have made it onto this prestigious list for the 3rd year in a row, alongside Prof. Pennie Lindeque. Plastic pollution is a global issue requiring international co-operation and research, and it is fantastic to see our research being so widely cited by other scientists in the field. Many thanks to Clarivate, our colleagues and the fantastic team of students who have helped make PML’s microplastic research world renowned”.
