PML-led MSPACE project features in the COP30 UK Pavilion Showreel

The showreel is playing throughout COP30 in the UK Pavilion and highlights some of the best UK-developed products and services tackling climate change.

By working with scientists, economists, marine planners, marine industries, conservationist and policymakers, the Marine Spatial Planning Addressing Climate Effects (MSPACE) project is using scientific innovation and co-produced solutions to help build and implement climate-smart, economically-viable and socially-acceptable marine spatial plans for the UK.

MSPACE project leader and Ocean Challenge Lead for Climate Change at Plymouth Marine Laboratory, Prof. Ana M Queirós, is joining PML’s COP30 team and will be speaking at a range of events.
MSPACE has also launched a survey inviting input from UK marine policy makers, planners, industry representatives and the conservation community to help explore views on different approaches to managing marine space in the face of climate change.
