PML’s Modern Slavery Commitment
Whilst PML falls below the threshold for reporting against the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2015, we are fully committed to its principles and upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity, and social responsibility in all that we do. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and take reasonable steps to ensure these practices have no place in our operations or research activities, including supply chains.
Due Diligence:
We are committed to working collaboratively with our suppliers to improve standards and promote ethical business practices throughout our supply chain.
- We expect our suppliers to carry out their own due diligence within their supply chains to identify, prevent, and address risks related to modern slavery.
- Suppliers must promptly notify us if they become aware of any actual or suspected incidents of modern slavery within their operations or supply chain.
- We may request that suppliers evidence their commitment to tackling modern slavery.
Failure to comply with our modern slavery expectations may result in the termination of business relationships.
Employment Practices:
As an equal opportunities employer, we are committed to creating and maintaining a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment. Our recruitment and employment practices ensure that:
- All employees have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Safeguards are in place to protect staff from exploitation or coercion.
- All individuals are treated with dignity and respect throughout their employment.
