New Survey: Help shape the future of 'Climate Smart' marine planning

10 November 2025

The University of Essex are inviting input from UK marine policy makers, planners, industry representatives and the conservation community as part of the Marine Spatial Planning Addressing Climate Effects (MSPACE) project.
This survey explores views on different approaches to managing marine space in the face of climate change. The results will help assess the social acceptance of possible marine management actions and support more effective, climate-ready decision making across UK waters.
Your insights will directly contribute to how marine planning can better confront, adapt to and limit the effects of climate change, and your input is hugely appreciated.
