Coastal Futures 2024
The Coastal Futures conference is one of largest marine and coastal conferences in the UK, and convenes different sectors to discuss critical developments and concerns. The conference has a firmly established reputation, with 2024 marking its 31st year running. Ocean and Coastal Futures brings together expertise in the ocean, coastal and water sectors – including industry, conservation, communities, governance, policy and licensing.
Our Head of the International Office Dr Matt Frost will be speaking at the conference, in Session 4: ‘Evidence Assessment Into Action. In response to the latest evidence and assessments, how will we drive action?‘. Dr Frost, who is also chair of the UK National Decade Committee, will be presenting: Supporting Ocean Action at a global level – the UN Decade of Ocean Science and the UK National Decade Committee.
