Elin Meek

Elin has a background in Marine Biology and has volunteered with several marine NGOs, supporting the coordination and delivery of research and outreach projects to maximise their impact.

Elin Meek joined PML in 2023 as a Research and Impact Services Officer. Since then, she has managed a diverse portfolio of projects spanning Biodiversity (BiCOME and BOOMS), Primary Production (PRIMUS), Offshore Marine Planning (FRONTWARD), and EO Services for Fisheries and Aquaculture (NEXTOCEAN).

Elin currently manages several European Space Agency (ESA) projects, including HyperBOOST, SCOPE, OC-CCI, TIME, and CAMP. She also manages the Human Health Project WADIM (funded by the Wellcome Trust), working with national and international partners.

In October 2025, Elin took on the additional role of PML’s Policy Officer. In this capacity, she ensures that PML’s engagement with national policy is proactive, coordinated, and impactful. The role provides central oversight of policy activity, ensuring engagement is effectively initiated, tracked, and supported.
