Aser is a physicist who joined PML back in 2015. He moved from a theoretical background into an interdisciplinary career with a Masters in Renewable Energy, later finding his path in Earth Observation. Remote Sensing granted him the harmony between theoretical, applied science and his ethos of working in projects to contribute to a better and sustainable world. Above all else, he enjoys physics and solving problems.
His main areas of expertise are Satellite and Airborne data, airborne data usually being his main focus. Aser participates in all stages involved from software developing, data processing and analysis at NEODAAS Airborne. He is also experienced in hyperspectral optical sensor calibration, participating through an active role in the laboratory and processing the data. Aser is also involved in drone data acquisition as a CAA certified Small Unmanned Aircraft (SUA) Operator as well as the Plymouth Marine Laboratory SUA Accountable Manager.
