International Association for People-Environment Studies (IAPS) Conference 2026
Held every two years, the IAPS Conference is a leading international gathering for researchers exploring the relationship between people and their environments. The event provides a valuable opportunity to share cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, and explore the latest theories, evidence, methods, and real-world applications in people–environment studies.
This year, PML’s Dr Elizabeth Gabe-Thomas and Natalie Smith will be attending the conference, which focuses on the urgent need for innovative, just, and holistic approaches to sustainable lifestyles. Bringing together researchers and practitioners from around the world, the event will explore the deep connections between the health of people, communities, and societies, and the health of the planet and its ecosystems, in pursuit of inclusive and equitable solutions to today’s most pressing challenges.
