The future direction of the UK’s marine research infrastructure and how to succeed in taking on solo global ocean challenges are on the keynote billboard for this year’s tenth Marine Autonomy and Technology Showcase (MATS).

PML’s Professor James Fishwick and his team will be hosting an exhibit focused on their work on SmartSound Plymouth – the UK’s premier proving area for designing, testing and developing cutting edge products and services for the marine sector – and the National Centre of Coastal Autonomy – the UK’s first autonomous coastal observing and monitoring network.

The event will run from November 5-7, at the National Oceanography Centre’s dockside facilities in Southampton.
