PML Wins Regional Chamber Business Award for Green Innovation

This significant achievement places PML at the forefront of sustainable innovation among businesses in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset, Bristol and Thames Valley.

The win not only highlights PML’s commitment to environmental stewardship but also secures its place as the South West nominee for the national British Chamber Business Awards.

Beverly Tremain, PML’s Director of Operations, expressed her excitement:

“This regional win is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team and the steps we have taken to address our own environmental footprint. As a marine science organisation, innovation and environmental responsibility go hand in hand, and we’re delighted with this recognition from the British Chambers of Commerce. We’re also extremely grateful to the Devon Chamber for their support and look forward to representing the South West at the national awards.”

 The Chamber Business Awards, known as one of the UK’s most esteemed business accolades, celebrate excellence and innovation across various sectors.

The Chamber of Commerce Network itself comprises eleven regions. In the South West region there are 6 County Chambers including Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Business West and Thames Valley. Regional winners for the Green Innovation category were selected from 25 shortlisted businesses, with 52 Chambers initially represented nationwide.

PML’s success in the regional heat demonstrates its leadership in developing and implementing sustainable solutions within the business community.

The next stage of the competition will see PML competing for the national title at the British Chamber Business Awards.

The winners will be announced on Thursday, 17th October 2024.
